Serious crash shuts down major roadway in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A crash shut down a major roadway in Orange County Tuesday morning.

The crash happened on SR-417 near Hunters Creek just before 7 a.m.

The southbound lanes of SR-417 were shut down for nearly an hour while fire crews worked the crash.

Officials have not said how many people were injured or what may have caused the crash.

FHP says the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
