TAMPA, Fla. — A reporter for ABC Action News in Tampa became part of the story when he found a boy who disappeared from his home.
The reporter, Cameron Polom, was walking through the family’s neighborhood following a media conference about missing 10-year-old Paul Fagan Friday morning when he saw a child matching the boy’s description peeking through a fence.
Polom asked the boy what his name was and the boy told him how he has spent the night in his neighbor’s backyard, which was covered in overgrown vegetation.
Polom brought the boy over to officers, who reunited the boy with his family.
