A Seminole County man known as "The Junk Man" was back in court Thursday morning.
Alan Davis and his neighbors have been battling for years over the piles of junk that have accumulated on Davis’ Altamonte Springs property.

He asked a judge to accept his change of plea from not guilty to no contest on three charges.
Davis was arrested in December on charges related to his messy property. He’s been arrested multiple times on similar littering charges and for code enforcement issues.
In December, he was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court on three charges, one of which was a felony. Davis was being held without bond.
A judge accepted Davis’ change of plea, and Davis is expected to bond out of jail Thursday.
Davis will be on five years of probation and re-sentenced.
As part of his plea, Davis will have to pay $10,000 in fines from when the country hauled away 35 tons of trash from his home in September 2015.
He told the judge he will clean up his home and get it up to code. Davis also promised to work with code enforcement.
In September, the county hauled away 35 tons of trash from his home.
He has 60 days to clean up the property, and he must remove his shed and a rooftop platform.
His neighbors said they hope Davis follows through but are doubtful.
“Past history tells me no. I mean, we have been here a couple of years and it’s only gotten worse,” said Lynn Cochran.
