VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies with the Volusia Sheriff’s Office are searching for two children who ran away from Residing Hope at 51 Children’s Way in Enterprise.

Authorities identified the missing youths as 14-year-old Jayda Jones and 12-year-old Zinc Williams.

During the investigation, deputies recovered writings from one of the children that raised concerns about potential self-harm. Law enforcement has deployed the agency’s Air One helicopter and K-9 units to assist in the search efforts.

Deputies have been canvassing surrounding locations as part of the search, including nearby businesses and parks.

Jones was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and light purple pajama pants. Williams was wearing an orange polo shirt, a black jacket, and shorts.

Authorities urge anyone who sees either child or has information regarding their location to call 911 immediately.
