VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Volusia County’s Purchasing and Contracts Division has received a national award recognizing its procurement practices.
The National Procurement Institute presented the division with a 2026 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award. It is the 18th time Volusia County has received the honor since 2003.
Volusia County was among 251 public agencies recognized across the United States and Canada. Only 54 county governments received the award.
The award recognizes agencies for innovation, professionalism, productivity, leadership and the use of electronic procurement systems.
The division, led by Pam Wilsky, manages county purchasing and contracts. Its responsibilities include maximizing the value of public funds and maintaining the integrity of Volusia County’s procurement system.
