VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — On Monday, Volusia County School District leaders are expected to vote on the county’s face mask policy for the upcoming school year.
The policy includes making face coverings voluntary for students and staff members.

The board still has to give the changes final approval.
If approved, the changes will take effect on July 1.

So far, Brevard, Lake, Osceola counties will not require students or staff members to wear a face mask on campus.
