All lanes open on S.R. 408 at Conway; overturned travel trailer cleared from roadway

ORLANDO, Fla. — 5 p.m. update: Orlando Police have opened all lanes and city workers have removed debris from an earlier overturned travel trailer.

Orlando Police have part of the westbound lanes closed along State Road 408 near Conway Road as they investigate an overturned travel trailer.


From EPASS cameras you can see that a travel trailer has completely come apart and blocking most of the westbound lanes.

Orlando Police say the accident happened around 2 p.m. when the travel trailer overturned. No injuries were reported.

Police expect to keep 4 lanes closed while they continue cleanup and travelers should expect heavy delays.

Those planning a trip into downtown Orlando should avoid the 408 and find an alternate route down SR50 or Lake Underhill to get around the accident.
