Windermere’s Feather & Quill restaurant closes

WINDERMERE, Fla. — A popular New American and Italian fusion restaurant and craft cocktail bar has closed in Central Florida.

Feather & Quill in Windermere announced it had permanently closed its restaurant for regular food service Feb. 28.

“We are thankful for those that supported our passion for elevated food and cocktails,” the restaurant said in a Facebook post. “Thank you for your support, understanding and kindness. We wish everyone the very best.”

The restaurant said it will still maintain the space for wine, whiskey and cocktails events in the future.

The kitchen will also remain open to help with food preparation for its sister restaurants, which include RusTeak Ocoee, RusTeak Thornton Park and the Stubborn Mule.

The restaurant also said that it has expanded the seating area of its craft cocktail bar Propag8, which remains open Thursday through Saturday.

Feather & Quill will also provides a catering menu on its website.

But if you are still looking to try more of the restaurant’s signature food and cocktails, most of its team has transferred to RusTeak Ocoee.
