Woman found dead at Orange County construction site

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies are investigating after a woman was found dead at a construction site Friday morning.

Deputies said they found the body of a woman in her 20s near the 1900 block of Boy Scout Road around 6:50 a.m.

Construction crews were just arriving to the construction site when the woman was found dead behind a dumpster.

Crime scene tape wrapped around the site and more than a dozen Orange County deputies were on the scene.

Deputies spoke to construction workers while investigators collected at least two bags of evidence at the scene and snapped photographs behind the backside of the dumpster.

The site where the woman was found dead is being developed into a subdivision.

The development company declined to comment on what their crews saw Friday.

So far, the Sheriff’s Office has not released any information identifying the victim’s age, other than she is believed to be in her 20s.

Authorities are still working to identify the woman.
