SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla.,None — Casselberry police said they are investigating a suicide on Thursday at the Shoot Straight gun range in Seminole County.
Police said the man rented a handgun and shot himself at the range on U.S. Highway 17-92.
No one else was injured. One civilian was inside the range at the same time of the suicide, using a different shooting stall, police said.
Officials say the man, who wasn't immediately identified, apparently left a suicide note on his cell phone.
Investigators plan to review security video of the death.
Two previous suicides have been reported at the same range in recent years. In one case, a woman fatally shot her 20-year-old son before turning the gun on herself.
