WASHINGTON — CBS aired its interview with adult film actress Stormy Daniels on Sunday's episode of "60 Minutes."
Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, has said she had sex with Donald Trump before he became president.
She has been trying to invalidate a nondisclosure agreement she signed days before the 2016 presidential election so she can discuss her relationship with Trump, which she said began in 2006.
CNN anchor and "60 Minutes" correspondent Anderson Cooper recorded the interview with Clifford earlier this month.
During the interview, she said she appeared on the program because she felt the need to defend herself and that threats had kept her quiet before it.
"I was fine not saying anything," she said during her 60 Minutes interview.
Clifford said Trump offered her a slot on the reality show 'The Celebrity Apprentice' as part of her encounter with him during the 60 Minutes interview, but he was later unable to arrange it.
Donald Trump's White House is increasingly being forced to confront allegations from the president's past, as an adult film star, a former Playboy model and a onetime "Apprentice" contestant advance lawsuits.
In court, on social media and with upcoming television interviews, these women are making allegations about Trump's past sexual exploits.
The White House has had little to say publicly about the accusations, which are only likely to get louder.
