Believe it: 'FIFA 23' will let you play as Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond

He's here, he's there, he's every FIFAnwhere. Roy Kent! Roy Kent!

That's right, Roy Kent and his fun-loving group of teammates on AFC Richmond will be playable in "FIFA 23." And if AFC Richmond is in the game, you know you'll see Ted Lasso patrolling the sideline.

Lasso, who is played by Jason Sudeikis, will appear as a digital model in the game.

All your favorite characters from "Ted Lasso" are digitally rendered in the trailer. Kent, Isaac McAdoo, Sam Obisanya, Dani Rojas and Jamie Tartt all make appearances in the preview clip. Even Coach Beard is in the game.

AFC Richmond will reportedly be usable in Career Mode and in online play, according to IGN. That means you can actually "play" as Lasso if you select his team in Career Mode.

If you haven't watched "Ted Lasso" yet, well, you're missing out. Two seasons of the show have aired on Apple TV and a third should be coming soon. And if you've watched "Ted Lasso" and it's not your cup of tea, you can always choose your favorite club and virtually destroy AFC Richmond in "FIFA 23." It's not like Lasso is a grand soccer strategist anyway.
