The delivery company is looking to hire more than 100,000 seasonal workers in 2022 and it is making the process faster, saying that it could take less than half an hour to complete an online application and be hired.

UPS said in a news release announcing the hiring push that a majority of jobs — 80% of them — don’t need an interview.

The company is looking to hire both full- and part-time workers including seasonal delivery and CDL drivers, package handlers and driver helpers, some of which may translate into permanent employment.

Last year, about 35,000 seasonal employees, or about a third of those hired for the holidays, were made permanent, UPS said.

A full-time tractor-trailer driver can earn $95,000 to $112,000 salary in addition to $50,000 health, welfare and pension contributions.

UPS drivers, after four years, make an average of $42 an hour.

The company also offers a lifetime max of $25,000 for tuition assistance.
