Swift, St. Vincent, and Antonoff had been listed as songwriters on Rodrigo’s song, “Deja Vu,” but because of Recording Academy’s rules, the way the music was used in the song made them ineligible to receive songwriting credits, Variety reported.

Despite losing the nomination, all three artists are eligible for others. Swift and Antonoff are still nominated for album of the year for Swift’s “evermore”, and St. Vincent is nominated for best alternative music album for “Daddy’s Home,” Billboard reported.

This year, the Recording Academy is maintaining a page for any updates or corrections to the nominations, to increase transparency.
