Channel 9 meteorologist George Waldenberger said it’s too soon to know what impact, if any, it could have on Florida. At this point, he said, the track is “highly uncertain.”

Waldenberger said the system is likely to track near or through the Caribbean this weekend.

With the 2 p.m. update, the NHS also downgraded the chance of formation to 0% for another closer disturbance.
