Police identify victim in deadly shooting in Daytona Beach

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Daytona police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Monday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 800 block of Magnolia Avenue in Daytona Beach for a reported shooting just after 1 p.m.

Police say they received several 911 calls reporting multiple gunshots in the area followed by the sound of a woman screaming.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found one person on the sidewalk dead from a gunshot wound.

Police have identified the victim as 26-year-old Timothy Seamore Jr.

Police have not said what may have led to the shooting or if there are any suspects.
