Some travelers are running into hours while trying to get inside the airport. Traffic is backed up for miles and passengers said they waited hours just to park.

“We’re back to pre-pandemic; you need to be here two hours early,” said Tom Draper, chief of operations for OIA. “Parking is just as busy.”

The airport is stressing they don’t expect things to slow down over the holiday weekend. For parking, they’re asking people to pay close attention to signage here to make the process a bit easier.
