TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Formal budget negotiations are set to begin Monday at the Florida State Capitol.

House and Senate leaders have been working to determine how much money will go to different areas.

The money would be spent to support programs including education or health and human services.
The budget needs to be finished by May 2 for the legislative session to end as scheduled on May 5.
