BREVARD COUNTY, Fla — More consumers claim a central Florida window business that Action 9 investigated before took their money and didn’t do any work.
“It did hurt and to me it’s disgusting how to treat a fellow human being,” said Brevard County homeowner Julian Leek.
After Action 9’s first story aired in early June, the state suspended the contractor’s license of the business owner and he’s since filed for bankruptcy. The business is called American Made Windows of Central Florida and the owner is Zeuxis Salazar.

According to his bankruptcy filing, Zeuxis Salazar, who goes by Raymond, has more than $4,500,000 in liabilities. About half of the money is considered non-priority debt like credit cards and for customers who paid thousands of dollars and didn’t get the job done.
Looking to replace his upstairs windows, Julian Leek thought he did his homework after seeing local ads for American Made Windows.
Leek told Action 9 Consumer Investigator Jeff Deal, “So, we settled on this gentleman because he had a nice shiny sheet ad, pictures of the family, a good resume, no complaints.”
But after paying a more than $6,000 deposit in January, he said the windows never arrived, no permits were pulled for the work and American Made Windows closed its doors.
“His his telephone number’s disconnected, his email doesn’t answer, everything disappeared completely,” Leek said.
And he’s not the only one, in June Action 9 spoke with Diana Wilson of Titusville, who paid $5,000 and never got her sliding glass doors.
Wilson said back then, “I know I’m not getting the money back, but I just wish he would get in trouble somehow for doing this.”
Since then, the state suspended his contractors license, Brevard County will no longer allow him to pull permits and he filed for bankruptcy. Julian Leek and Diana Wilson are included in the listed liabilities of more than $4,500,000. Some people are out even more money.
Leek said, “There are people who went out and took second mortgage, HELOC loans against their house to the tune, I think, one of them for like $30,000.”
Most of Salazar’s assets listed in the bankruptcy petition are tied up in his river front house in Melbourne that he lists as valued at around $1,100,000.
No one answered at the home when the Action 9 team stopped by even though the garage was open and there were two luxury cars parked on property.
The bankruptcy also had some other interesting numbers, like Salazar claimed he only has $100 worth of clothes and $1,000 worth of household goods and furnishings in his 3,000 square foot home.
Raymond Salazar also went through bankruptcy in 2012 when he ran a different window company. At that time, he listed around $2,200,000 in liabilities, with just under $900,000 in assets.
Brevard County has received 11 complaints on Salazar and American Made Windows of Central Florida LLC since 2023. The complaints are closed now, but homeowners accused the company of abandoning jobs.
Diana Wilson and Julian Leek wonder where all the money went and wonder if Raymond Salazar will eventually just open another business like he did last time he went through bankruptcy.
Jeff Deal asked, “What do you think about somebody doing something like this?”
Julian Leek responded, “I can’t repeat it on television, but I mean, it’s how do you sleep at night?”
Last time Action 9 looked into the situation, Zeuxis “Raymond” Salazar initially sent an email saying he would respond to the allegations, but then later wrote back stating his attorney advised him not to say anything. Action 9 reached out again this time and has not received a response.
