Disney Believe will launch December 2027 with Encanto stage debut

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Disney Cruise Line is bringing a little more magic to the high seas with a brand-new ship featuring experiences inspired by “Encanto,” “Frozen,” “Moana,” and more.

The Disney Believe is scheduled to set sail for the first time on Dec. 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale.

One of the ship’s biggest debuts will be “Disney Encanto,” the world’s first stage adaptation of the animated film. The production will follow Mirabel and feature songs including “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure.”

“Tangled: The Musical” will also join the theatrical lineup with a reimagined set and special effects exclusive to the Disney Believe. “Disney Seas the Adventure,” featuring Disney and Pixar characters and songs, will round out the ship’s Broadway-style shows.

“Frozen” fans can come hungry. The ship will introduce Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, a new dining experience featuring Oaken, Anna and Kristoff, along with music inspired by the films.

Two new cafés will also debut aboard the ship. Big Hero Sips will take inspiration from San Fransokyo in “Big Hero 6,” while Café Kakamora will be inspired by “Moana.” Both will serve coffee, tea and specialty drinks.

The ship’s Grand Hall will also be inspired by “Moana,” while a new “Zootopia”-themed entertainment hub will feature Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde in a family show.

Disney said the Disney Believe will feature the returning AquaMouse water ride, seven pools in its Mickey and Friends family district and a “Toy Story”-themed water area for younger children.

Adults will get some Disney magic of their own. Wishing Well, inspired by “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” will feature live music and drinks, while the observatory-themed Skygazers pub will offer sports, cocktails and light bites. The Haunted Mansion Parlor will also return with a new menu of cocktails and mocktails.

The Disney Believe will sail four- and five-night cruises to the Caribbean and The Bahamas, including stops at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

General bookings open Oct. 19, 2026.

The Disney Believe is part of Disney Cruise Line’s ongoing expansion, with the fleet expected to grow to 13 ships by late 2030.
