ORLANDO, Fla. — Elon Musk recently confirmed he has no plans to buy TikTok.

He made the comments during a virtual meeting at the WELT Economic Summit.
Musk said he had not submitted a bid to buy the social media platform and that even if he owned TikTok, he was not entirely certain what he would do with it.

The Chinese-owned app was set to be banned on Jan. 20 over national security concerns.
President Donald Trump then issued a 75-day extension to sell it to an American buyer or have it shut down.
