LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman on Oct. 6, 2026, on child abuse charges.
According to an affidavit, on Aug. 19, 2026, 69-year-old Jeannette Miller was accused of burning a child with a hot glue gun.
According to LCSO, a deputy responded to a house in Eustis regarding a DCF investigation.
According to DCF, Miller was attempting to teach a child a lesson for leaving their hot glue gun on, which was a fire hazard, and put the glue gun up against the child’s arm, allegedly.
This left a mark about an inch long on the child, according to DCF.
Miller was later arrested and taken into the Lake County Jail without incident.
