MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies in Marion County are searching for a man who they said violently attacked someone during a robbery.

The incident happened around 10 a.m. Monday at the Kwik King Gas Station on SW Highway 200.
Deputies said the suspect approached a man who was getting ice from the outside freezer and robbed him of $600.

During the robbery, the man stabbed the victim in the hand before running away, according to a report.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
