ORLANDO, Fla. — January is recognized as National Blood Donor month
To help spread the word, OneBlood has partnered up with Dunkin’ of Greater Orlando to provide free coffee vouchers for blood donors in the area.
Starting January 10 through January 31, up to 17,000 donors will receive a voucher for a free medium hot or iced coffee at participating Dunkin’ restaurants.
“As the pandemic wears on into the new year, blood donations remain essential to the health of our communities,” OneBlood spokesperson Susan Forbes said. “Our collaboration with Dunkin’ of Greater Orlando allows us to thank our donors with a special gift this January, and will help ensure blood is available for patients.”
Donors can find a OneBlood donation center or Big Red Bus blood drive, and schedule donation appointments here.
Blood donors are required to wear masks at OneBlood locations, regardless of vaccination status.
Healthy people over the age of 16 who weigh at least 110 pounds are eligible to donate. Photo Identification is required.
