Central Florida COVID-19 vaccine sites slow ahead of eligibility change to age 50 and older

“Relief a little bit knowing that I’m somewhat protected and no fear cause it’s a small little flu needle,” MacMurdo said.

She is a teacher and was eligible for the vaccine. Her husband, Logan, will have to wait a little while longer because he’s only 31.

Beginning Monday, anyone 50 and older can get the vaccine.
