‘Coco’ heading to Mickey’s PhilharMagic attraction in Magic Kingdom

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A popular Pixar film is being incorporated into a classic Disney attraction.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Magic Kingdom will soon include a new animated scene based on the film “Coco,” Disney announced this week.

The scene will use the musical number “Un Poco Loco” to anchor the new scene, Disney said in a blog post.

“The film’s fun, upbeat music and characters combined with the humor of Donald Duck marks the first time Disney and Pixar animators have worked on a creative endeavor where characters from both animation studios will be seen together on screen,” Disney said.

The park said it tapped one of the film’s original composers, world-renowned Germaine Franco, to produce a “Coco” score unique to Mickey’s PhilharMagic.
