ORLANDO, Fla. — Workers at Camping World Stadium are ready for operations to ramp up.
Music legend Billy Joel is scheduled to perform at the stadium on Saturday.
Joel is the first of six major concerts at the venue this year.
Garth Brooks is set to perform on March 26 and Paul McCartney will return to Orlando on May 28.
Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Poison, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will bring their tour on June 19, Bad Bunny on August 5 and Red Hot Chili Peppers on Sept. 15.
“It’s great to be in Florida,” said Orlando Venues Chief Venues Officer Allen Johnson. “It’s great to be open, to have full capacity crowds, no restrictions, no limitations.”
It’s a big increase for major concerts at Camping World Stadium, which has averaged one concert per year since its reconstruction finished in 2014.
