Greg Warmoth Reindeer Run raises money for families battling childhood cancer

ORLANDO, Fla. — For 25 years, people have been getting up and dressing up for the Greg Warmoth Reindeer Run.

On Saturday, the tradition continued at SeaWorld.

Holiday themed costumes, a kids run and Christmas music were all part of the festivities.

It was a capacity crowd for the event, which raises money for pediatric and bone marrow transplant programs at AdventHealth for children.

The course carried participants through SeaWorld’s wintery, watery wonderland and a sea of holiday trees all to the sound of holiday bells.

Once again, the oldest competitor was Grace Nolan. Nolan is 98 years old and stopped by the starting line to say hi to Greg.

Nolan finished the race and afterword said she would be back next year and hopes to celebrate her 100th birthday in two years by walking the course with her grandchildren.

Money raised today goes to AdventHealth for children, and lots of toys were also collected for Toys for Tots.
