Here’s how many Orange County employees have complied with COVID-19 vaccine mandate

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Sunday was the deadline for Orange County employees to receive their second COVID-19 vaccine shots in accordance with the county’s vaccine mandate.

If they did not comply by Sunday, they would receive written reprimands.

As of Monday, the county said 6,171 employees, roughly 85%, are fully vaccinated, and 731 employees, roughly 10%, received accommodations or exemptions to the mandate.

The county said 90% of its non-union employees complied with the mandate, as did 78% of union employees.
