ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Shots fired outside the busy Florida Mall left one man hurt on Saturday.
Police lights and crime scene tape were seen in the parking lot, not far from the mall’s Shake Shack entrance.

Some shoppers told Channel 9 reporter Deanna Allbrittin that there was no lockdown, and some people in the area continued shopping because they were unaware a shooting victim was lying on the floor inside.
One employee told Channel 9 that a gun was spotted, and 911 was called.

Video also shows the victim after he fell to the floor inside of the mall.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said someone reported gunfire at 6:05 p.m.

Deputies said a man was shot by someone in a vehicle.
Deputies could be seen shining flashlights under cars and in parking spaces looking for evidence.
Deputies said the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
No other details have been released.
