Process to bring high-speed rail service to Central Florida is first of its kind in U.S.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A massive project to help bring high-speed rail service to Central Florida is the first of its kind in the U.S.

A technique last year called “box jacking” forced a pre-made train tunnel under Goldenrod Road while it was shut down.

Brightline Trains will use that same technique under State Road 528 while cars are still using it.
