Woman fatally struck by tow truck in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — A woman died early Wednesday after she was hit by a tow truck in Orlando, according to troopers.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the pedestrian was near the corner of Semoran Boulevard and Cornelia Avenue when she was hit.

She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

The road was shut down around 1 a.m. while troopers investigated. The road later reopened.

Troopers did not say if anyone will face charges.
