‘A Tale of Two Winters’: Parts of US see cold weather blast as Florida stays warm and sunny

ORLANDO, Fla. — Millions across the northeast are digging out after a fast-moving winter storm brought snow, sleet, and ice over the weekend.

New York City saw three inches of snow overnight Sunday, while parts of New England got more than a foot!

Crews have been working to clear roads, but driving remains treacherous in some areas.

And the winter weather isn’t over yet; two more storms are coming.

The following system will bring rain from Texas to the Tennessee Valley, with snow expected in D.C. and New England by Thursday.

At the same time, Florida continues to experience an extended stretch of unseasonably warm weather.

Partly sunny skies and near-record highs will continue this week until our next chance for storms arrives on Thursday.
