See: Loggerhead, green sea turtle returned to the ocean in Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Two sea turtles returned to the Atlantic Ocean on Monday with some help from Brevard County Ocean Rescue and the Brevard Zoo.

The organizations released a green sea turtle named Schnitzel and a loggerhead named Sunflower, weighing in at 130 pounds, back to the ocean.

Sea turtle nesting season started back in March and runs through October.
