ORLANDO, Fla. — The Atlantic is keeping an eye on two named storms, Tropical Storm Fay and Tropical Storm Hanna, but neither is expected to pose a threat to the United States.
As of now, forecasters do not expect either storm to strengthen into a hurricane.
That means the 2026 hurricane season remains hurricane-free so far.
Both systems are being monitored as they move through the Atlantic, but current forecasts keep them away from the U.S. mainland.
While the tropics are active, residents across the U.S. do not currently have to worry about impacts from Fay or Hanna.
Forecasters will continue to monitor both systems for any changes in strength or track.
