SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A family-friendly Halloween event is returning to Seminole County this October to raise money for Make-A-Wish of Central and Northern Florida.
Seminole Science Charter School and A Petrified Forest will host Kids Day from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 10 at A Petrified Forest, located at 1360 E. Altamonte Drive.
The event will feature trick-or-treating, a costume parade, games and crafts. Admission is $5, with ticket sales benefiting Make-A-Wish.
Seminole Science Charter School students and staff donated 43,000 pieces of candy for the event.
Organizers said Kids Day has raised more than $50,000 for the local Make-A-Wish chapter since the event began, including more than $5,500 last year.
