ORLANDO, Fla. — Disney fans are getting a preview of what’s next at Walt Disney World after a weekend of major announcements at the annual D23 fan event.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the new Indiana Jones attraction replacing DINOSAUR will be called Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent. Disney says the ride will be the first attraction to feature Harrison Ford’s likeness as Indiana Jones.
The new ride will put guests into an all-new adventure designed specifically for Animal Kingdom.
Meanwhile, EPCOT’s iconic Spaceship Earth is set for its first major update in nearly 20 years. Disney says the refreshed attraction will focus on the power of human connection, bringing the story of communication into the modern era.
Disney has not yet announced opening dates or construction timelines for either project.
