Florida reports 50 coronavirus-related deaths

ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida reported an additional 50 coronavirus-related deaths on Thursday.

Of the latest deaths, seven were reported in Central Florida.

The increase brings the total death toll from the virus in the state to 36,648.

On Thursday the state also reported an additional 4,064 COVID-19 cases.

That includes 987 in Central Florida.

The new cases bring the total number in the state since the pandemic began to 2,282,613.
