Universal’s Volcano Bay to close for 4 months, starting next month

ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal’s Volcano Bay said Friday that it will close next month for four months.

Theme park officials said it will close Nov. 2 and reopen “on or before March 1."

“We will use the seasonal closure to conduct annual maintenance on several attractions and areas of the park at the same time,” the park said in a statement.

Universal said it will work with annual passholders and those who bought tickets to the water park for that time period.

Those seeking assistance may visit the Guest Services departments at Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure. They may also call 877-801-9720.
