DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Business owners in Daytona Beach could see changes to fees tied to Bike Week and Biketoberfest.
City officials are considering a plan that would increase fees for some businesses and vendors. The goal is to support businesses that operate year-round rather than pop-up vendors that come to town during events.
One possible plan would also charge businesses on the beachside more while keeping costs lower for businesses on the west side of the city.
The Daytona Beach City Commission is expected to review the proposed changes and vote on them in the coming weeks.
