Frontier Airlines will launch four new nonstop routes from Orlando to Colombia

The airline is proposing four new nonstop routes connecting Orlando directly to various Colombian cities

ORLANDO, Fla. — Frontier Airlines is set to announce its first service to South America, introducing four new nonstop routes from Orlando International Airport.

The airline has applied for authorization with Colombia’s civil aviation authority, Aerocivil, to launch the flights.

The planned nonstop routes will connect Orlando to Bogotá, Medellín, Cali and Cartagena in Colombia.

On Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m., airline and airport officials will host a media event at Orlando International Airport. Formal details regarding the service launch and schedules will be presented during Thursday’s media event at 10 a.m.
