ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida will see a typical summertime weather pattern Tuesday, with hot temperatures and a chance for afternoon thunderstorms.
Highs will climb into the low to mid 90s during the afternoon, with a 40% chance of storms.
While many storms will be brief, a few could move slowly and produce heavy rainfall, leading to locally high rain totals. Some storms may also produce strong thunderstorm wind gusts.
Storm chances will increase through the afternoon as daytime heating builds.
Residents should be prepared for quickly changing weather conditions, particularly during the peak afternoon and early evening hours.
If you’re heading outdoors Tuesday, plan around the storms and keep an eye on the forecast as conditions develop.
