Driver dies after crashing into Publix supermarket, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are investigating a deadly single-vehicle crash that happened Saturday morning.

According to the police, the car was traveling southbound on Conway Road from Curry Ford Road.

Police said the vehicle crossed over the median, continued to travel through the parking lot and struck the concrete pillars in front of the Publix.

According to police, the 25-year-old male driver was killed. The 24-year-old male passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
