ORLANDO, Fla. — A man is facing multiple charges after a stabbing in downtown Orlando Friday night left one person in critical condition, police said.
Officers responded to Orange Avenue and Central Boulevard around 10:31 p.m., where they found a person with multiple stab wounds. Police said they located and detained Deaveon Jaquan Brown at the scene.
The victim was taken to a hospital for surgery and later reported to be in critical condition.
Detectives reviewed public safety camera footage and interviewed witnesses during the investigation.
Brown was arrested and charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery with a weapon and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Police said they are withholding additional details to protect the investigation.
