ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A deadly car accident shut down part of State Road 528 in Orange County on Monday morning.
The crash happened around 4:37 a.m. near the exit for the Epic Universe theme park.
The driver of a 2024 Honda Civic, a 23-year-old male from Mililani, Hawaii, was killed after the vehicle ran off the roadway, struck a light pole and multiple trees, and overturned.
The passenger, a 20-year-old male from Willow Street, Pennsylvania, sustained minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
