ORLANDO, Fla. — Get ready for a wet stretch across Central Florida.
A front that has stalled near the region is expected to linger through much of the week, keeping rain chances elevated across Central Florida.
Widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible each day, with some areas seeing multiple rounds of rain.
The repeated rainfall could become a concern over the next several days.
Heavy downpours may lead to localized flooding and ponding on roadways, especially in areas that receive several rounds of rain.
Drivers should be prepared for periods of reduced visibility and standing water on roads, particularly during heavier showers and storms.
While not everyone will see heavy rain every day, the overall pattern is expected to remain unsettled and wet through much of the week.
