Monique Worrell speaks to students about avoiding the criminal justice system

The visit was part of the Your Future, Your Choice program focused on teaching youth rights

State Attorney Monique Worrell State Attorney Monique Worrell spoke to Robinswood Middle School students about making positive choices for their future.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Choices young people make today can shape their futures. That was the message State Attorney Monique Worrell shared with students at Robinswood Middle School on Thursday morning.

Worrell visited the Orlando school as part of Your Future, Your Choice, a program designed to teach young people about their rights and responsibilities and help keep them out of the criminal justice system.

During the visit, she guided students through real-life scenarios, discussing how their decisions can carry lasting consequences.

Her message to students: Stay in school, think seriously about the future and work hard toward their goals.
